A record month for Kollect

Kollect, the company that makes it easy to book any waste service online, are continuing to grow and expand, breaking their own sales records in the process.

In their latest trading update, for April 2021, the Company reported record monthly revenues of SEK5.5 and a year-on-year increase of 44% with recurring revenue increasing by 107%.

Kollect offers a number of services to suit the needs of their customers in both waste collection and waste drop off. In the waste collection business, revenues from Domestic Bins were up 33% from April 2020 while revenues from Commercial Bins were 47% higher than April 2020.

The Commercial Skip business continued to perform well with revenues up 19% compared to March 2021, despite many construction sites remaining closed under Covid-19 restrictions.

BIGbin, the waste drop off business, increased their revenues by 69% from April 2020.

Commenting on yet another positive trading update for the company, Kollect Co-founder Robbie Skuse said that the was “thrilled to break more records”.

“We are doing the basics well and that’s giving us a great foundation for growth,” Robbie said. “To see a new monthly revenue record of SEK 5.5M, is a real boost to everybody working towards our goals. The year on year increase of 44% shows our terrific growth, which we don’t often take the time to appreciate. I also feel we’ve made some really good strategic decisions to our customer offerings, which shows in recurring revenue increasing by 107% over the past year. Fundamentally this is a better revenue stream, and we’re delighted to have successfully executed on our strategy.”
