Based in the Company’s head office at Unit F4, Waterford City Enterprise Centre, Waterford Business Park, Cork Road, Waterford, Ireland or remotely from home, as agreed with the CEO.

The eCommerce Manager is deployed as a member of the Kollect executive management team focused on delivering a DIGITAL/ONLINE first service to our clients.

Kollect is growing rapidly and is on a mission to be THE preferred waste management partner for Ireland, the UK and beyond. As part of this growth plan, we are looking for a tech-savvy eCommerce Manager with a background in digital commerce to join us on our journey.

 

You will understand eCommerce technology and how it supports a great customer experience throughout the end-to-end customer journey. The eCommerce manager can be viewed as a ‘service provider and enabler’ to the wider business as it relates to digital commerce, sales and marketing.

 

The eCommerce Manager sits at the intersection of business, technology, sales and marketing and needs to be savvy in all these areas.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

●      Work directly with the CEO, sales, marketing and delivery teams and external partners & advisors to implement and maintain a ‘best in class’ eCommerce experience for Kollect customers

●      Liaise with and be the primary point of contact for the Kollect external eCommerce technical/development partner across all new projects, initiatives and Work in Progress (WIP)

●      Coordinate and collaborate with the IT department as required across system and data integration initiatives

●      Work with external marketing and CRO partners to help manage all technical aspects of site testing/enhancement initiatives

●      Maintain working knowledge of best practices, novel approaches and emerging/cutting edge platforms/technology in eCommerce

 

Requirements:

The eCommerce Manager must have the following:

 

Professional experience:

●      Extensive and proven commercial & technical acumen

●      Thorough understanding of eCommerce (B2C, B2B, Omni-channel)

●      Understanding of budgets and business-planning

●      Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in technology, business or related field or equivalent experience required

●      5+ years of experience in Digital Commerce required

●      Previous supervisory experience required

●      Intermediate experience with eCommerce tech/platforms such as: Shopify, BigCommerce, Magento, SFCC etc

●      Intermediate experience with customer facing commerce technologies such as:

○      Search & Merchandising

○      Personalisation

○      Customer service/voice of customer

○      Marketing Automation

○      Payments technology

○      Authentication technology

●      BA level experience with eCommerce technology requirements gathering, scoping, documentation

●      Direct ownership of eCommerce technology deployment/implementation, testing, integration and optimisation projects

●      Previous experience with PIM, CRM, CDP and other related technologies is a plus

Education:

 

●      Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in technology, business or related field or equivalent experience required

 

Contractual arrangements

The eCommerce Manager will be offered a permanent position with appropriate terms and conditions.

 

The eCommerce Manager will commit to comply with all Kollect policies for employees including but not limited to customer and data confidentiality, information security and expense management and rules applying to listed companies.

 

Remuneration

The salary offered is competitive. The company will also offer a bonus/incentive scheme.

 

As a key member of the management team, the successful candidate will also be enrolled in the Employee Share Scheme.
