We want to get Ireland thinking creatively about reuse. Especially now more than ever seeing that we are spending more time at home. In collaboration with Vintage Irish Kat and The Revamp Tramp our mission is to get everyone creating something new out of something old.

So why is it important that we reuse old materials or turn them into something else? Reusing has numerous environmental benefits. It helps to save energy, limits pollution, conserves natural resources and also reduces greenhouse gases emission.

What is the #stayathomeupcyclechallenge?

It’s simple.

We’re challenging you to unearth the imagination within and create something new out of something old…to breathe new life into an old or unwanted item or material.

So if you can find something old and renovate it or turn it into something completely different but still usable, then we want to see it! Whether it's painting an old piece of furniture, decorating a wine bottle to use as a candlestick holder - whatever it is, we will love it.

All entries will be judged, and winners will be chosen and announced on social media. Competition closes May 31st and winners will be announced on June 3rd 2020.
