What Happens to the Rubbish We Remove?
Here at Kollect, we love recycling. Being environmentally friendly is a big deal for us, which is why we practice responsible recycling where possible. Any items that are of recyclable quality are sorted and recycled based on material. Any items that cannot be recycled are disposed of with refuse.
Please note however, for insurance, regulatory and health and safety reasons, there are some things that we cannot take away. This includes items such as hazardous waste materials including tyres, box TVs/monitors, paint or paint cans full of paint, noxious chemicals, solvents, motor oils, petrol cans, asbestos, vehicle batteries, raw meat and fish, medical or biological waste (including faeces), or any toxic substances. It is possible to dispose of these items with a certified expert.
