How long can I keep a hired skip in Ireland?
Standard hire is 5 days. Need more time? Call us before
collection and we'll extend it.
Do I need to be home when my skip is delivered?
No. Just tell us where to place it. Most of our
customers aren't home when the skip arrives.
Do I need a permit to hire a skip in Ireland?
Only if the skip is going on a public road. If it's on
your driveway or property, no permit needed. Call us if
you're not sure, we'll check.
What items are not allowed in a skip in Ireland?
No fridges, freezers, TVs & electricals, mattresses,
paint, tyres, asbestos, batteries, plasterboard, or
liquids. Got one of these? Our
junk removal service takes all of
them.
What happens if I overfill a hired skip?
The skip must be level-loaded, no higher than the rim.
Overfilled skips are unsafe to transport and can't be
collected. If you've got more than you thought, call us
and we'll upsize or add a second skip.
Can I share a skip hire with my neighbour in Ireland?
Absolutely. You just split the cost between you. One
address for delivery is all we need.
